Under our Contingent Model, you only pay a fee if you hire a candidate that Purple Tree presents to you. Contingency searches are non-exclusive and do not include many of the services provided under a Retained Search agreement. You’ll still benefit from our deep candidate research and will be presented with detailed dossiers on highly-qualified available talent.
We begin with intensive research into your company to understand your goals and the challenges you face. Next, we develop a strategy to attract candidates who will find long-term fulfillment as a member of your team. We will interview all key stakeholders to understand their concerns and expectations then we’ll work with your HR department to ensure efficiency and cooperation throughout the process. If requested, we visit your facilities and interview executives in-person.
Purple Tree will construct a detailed and comprehensive recruiting plan including target companies, keywords, and search string strategies. You’ll also receive detailed weekly reports on the highly-skilled candidates we’ve contacted.
If you have a large candidate pool, your search requirements are broad, or there is low competition for candidates, a contingent search might fit your needs.
If you’re searching for candidates who are currently unemployed, entry-level, or otherwise in low-demand, contingent searches will generally yield satisfactory results.
If you’d like to work with multiple search firms, a contingent search is for you. There are significant disadvantages to working with multiple firms, however. Your resources might be better spent on a retained search model. When working with more than one recruiting firm most of your candidates will come from existing databases with very little additional recruiting efforts conducted.
Contingency searches are ideal for clients who don’t have the resources to engage a retained search and are comfortable with more modest support.
